Getting your timber operation off the ground is challenging enough. Flex Air Aviation simplifies the rest with reliable, efficient heli-logging services designed to increase yield while minimizing environmental impact.

Helicopter logging offers a clear advantage over conventional methods, especially in rugged or remote terrain. A single S-64 Skycrane can move up to 15,000 tonnes of undamaged timber per month, making it significantly more productive than ground-based machinery. Traditional logging often results in higher stem breakage and soil disruption, particularly in steep, uneven, or confined areas. Heli-logging allows for selective tree removal near pipelines, on rocky outcrops, and in narrow clearings where ground equipment cannot operate efficiently.

In addition to improving yield and accessibility, heli-logging also increases safety. Operations can continue during colder months and in rainy conditions, keeping your project on schedule while reducing the risks faced by ground crews.
